Yeah bein adopted sucks yo. Especially international stuff. Sorry. Like u just are like “why they not want me”. Being adopted made me feel like a dog. Attachment issues are very common cause even if its been a normal nontraumatic process of adoption u always got questions growing up. I struggled with behavioral issues and most adopted people i know have some sorta mommy or daddy issues.

some people have already mentioned this but i would recommend researching adoption trauma and how to form secure attachments with adopted children. secure attachment to the mother is essential in early stages of life and adoption, while often necessary, can be an abrupt and traumatizing disruption to that process. i’m sure you will be a great adoptive mom, but it’s just something to research and think about as well

Im adopted from Vietnam and grew up in Sweden. I grew up with a sister whos also adopted from Vietnam but we arent biological siblings but we always had each other growing up. I also grew up knowing alot of other adopted kids from the same country and around same age. We have always known we are adopted and my parents were very open with it and took me and my sis back to Vietnam a few times so we could experience it. I do not know anything about my biological family, same goes for my sis. Im super proud of my bakground. Im not one who has the need to go back and search for my roots. But thats just me.

Ok I don't know who told you that second baby is worse cause the first baby is worse cause you're body has not stretched but then the second time your body has done it before and its easier.

I WANT TO ADOPT SO BADDD but I wanna adopt older children. Teenagers for example because I know how hard it is to be a teenager but I can’t imagine if I didn’t have my parents or a support system. We cannot have kids (medically necessary to have a full hysterectomy at 26) we adopted a little boy at birth almost two months ago and it was the most amazing experience ever! We will forever be thankful to his birth mom and love her dearly/ talk to her often. Something for you, and everyone on here to remember, every state has different laws and rules when it comes to adoption. Our state requires an agency be used. That means no private adoptions ever so it can be more expensive. We’d love to have another baby, but our first adoption was around $60,000.
